Monroe, La. - The Coastal Carolina dropped its first Sun Belt road match of the season after a 2-0 setback at ULM Sunday afternoon.

Coastal falls to 7-4 overall and 2-2 in Sun Belt action, while the Warhawks improved to 1-10-1 overall and 1-3 in the conference.

ULM got on the board at the 14:27 when Danielle Sabathe put a shot in the upper right corner of the net for the 1-nil lead.

The Warhawks put the second goal on the board when Taylor Altieri found the back of the net in the 74th minute to provide to final tally of 2-0.

Despite taking the loss, the Chanticleers out-shot ULM 12-to-8 overall with five of the 12 going on goal. Mackenzie Gibbs led CCU with four shots and two on goal. Daniella Famili added three shots, two on goal. Gabby Smychynsky's only shot accounted for CCU's five shots on goal.

Coastal will return to action Friday, Sept. 29, as they travel to Lafayette, La., to take on the Ragin Cajuns of Louisiana with a 7:00 (CT) scheduled kickoff.
