CHARLOTTE, N.C. - Five Coastal Carolina student-athletes have been named Big South all-conference honorees, the league announced Thursday afternoon.

Senior midfielder Charlotte O'Leary was honored as a first-team all-conference selection, senior attack Sara Nolan and senior defender Nyra Constant were named as second-team all-conference members, and sophomore midfielder Sophie Crowther was tabbed honorable mention all-conference.

Additionally, sophomore midfielder Gabby Vujanic has been named to the all-academic team.

O'Leary, a native of Holderness, N.H., started in 14 of the Chanticleers' 16 regular season games and is a key contributor both on offense and defense. She is tied for first on the team with 19 caused turnovers, and ranks second both in goals (34) and shots (58).

O'Leary is tied for first on Coastal with 29 ground balls, and ranks third both in points (36) and draw controls (29). On April 16, she tallied a game-high four goals in the Chants' 14-6 win over Longwood.

Nolan was named an all-conference selection for the first time in her career after putting together a stellar offensive effort in conference play. The Forest Hill, Md., native enjoyed a breakout season, tallying a career-high 41 goals.

Nolan - CCU's all-time leader in goals with 106 - leads the team with 51 points. She is also first on the team in shots (82) and draw controls (39).

Constant earned an all-conference honor for the second straight year, as she was named an at-large member of the second team in 2015. The iron horse of Coastal Carolina women's lacrosse, Constant has started in all 66 games during the program's four-year history. This season, the Gloucester, Mass., native recorded a career-high 29 ground balls to go along with 13 caused turnovers and nine draw controls, tying a career-high in the final category.

She turned in arguably her finest performance of the season on April 23, as she scooped five ground balls and caused two turnovers in Coastal's 20-8 win over Radford.

Crowther became another first-time all-conference selection as she was one of Coastal's top offensive options this season. The Whiteford, Md., native made an impact in all aspects of the game, causing 17 turnovers, winning 30 draw controls and tallying 33 points. She started in all 16 of the Chanticleers' regular season games. Crowther ranked third on the team in goals (24), and fifth in assists (9).

Lastly, Vujanic succeeded both on the field and academically. The Bel Air, Md., native was named to the all-academic team after posting a GPA of 4.0 and appearing in 14 of Coastal's 16 regular season games. During her 2016 campaign, she tallied five points, including two goals.

These five award winners, along with head coach Kristen Selvage and the rest of the Coastal Carolina women's lacrosse program, will host Liberty in the Big South quarterfinals on Saturday at 1 p.m. at Brooks Stadium. The Chanticleers are 2-3 all-time against the Flames, including an 11-10 overtime win on April 2.

Tickets for Saturday's contest will be available at the south ticket office at Brooks Stadium. Adults will be admitted for $5 per ticket, Coastal Carolina faculty and staff for $4 and college students and younger for $3. Additionally, any member of the CCU student-body with a valid student ID will be admitted for free, courtesy of Coastal Carolina University.
