Barrett Named NCAA Women’s Lacrosse Player of the Week
CONWAY - Harley Barrett was named the NCAA women’s lacrosse Player of the Week, a day after winning the Defensive Player of the Week award in the ASUN Conference. The win against Jacksonville clinched an ASUN playoff spot.
For the week, Barrett was 2-0, totaled 17 saves while giving up 13 goals, she had a .567 save percentage and a 6.50 goals against average. Barrett held the Dolphins, to half what they were averaging on the season, to eight goals and making 10 saves. Against Stetson, Barrett allowed five goals and made seven saves.
The Coastal Carolina lacrosse team will close out regular season play as it travels to Kennesaw, Ga. to take on Kennesaw State, on Friday, April 28 and then to Macon, Ga. to face Mercer, Sunday, April 30.
