CCU Women's Golf Places Second at Cougar Fall Invitational
MT PLEASANT, S.C. — Coastal Carolina University’s women’s golf team fired an final round 310 to finish second, 13 shots behind College of Charleston after the final day of play at the 2002 Cougar Fall Invitational, played at the Par-72 Rivertowne Country Club in Mt. Pleasant.
Morgan O' Bannion fired a final round two-under-par 70 to finished tied for second for the tournament at 147. Sophomore Tamara Page-Jones shot a seven-over-par 79 to fall in a tie for sixth place at 152.
The CCU women's golf team will next compete in the Lady Pirate Intercollegiate on Oct. 14-15 in Greenville, N.C.
