Women's Golf Tied For Ninth After 36 Holes at Cardinal Cup
More Information: LOUISVILLE, KY. -- Coastal Carolina's women's golf team slipped in the second round and is tied for ninth after 36 holes at the Napa River Grill Cardinal Cup, Sept. 19. The 54-hole tournament, hosted by the University of Louisville, is being played at the Cardinal Club Golf Course (Par 72 - 6,181 yards) in Louisville, Ky..
The Chanticleers were seventh after the opening round 312, but fell two spots in the second round and sit in a tie for ninth at 640 with Southern Mississippi. Georgia State leads the tournament overall with a 595 total.
Freshman Ann Maness leads the Lady Chanticleers through 36 holes, as she currently is tied for 14th at 155. Junior Katy Heher is next in a tie for 27th at 159, while senior Lindsey Letzig is tied for 39th at 161.
The final round of the tournament will be held Tue., Sept. 20, starting at 8 a.m.
