CONWAY, S.C. -- Coastal Carolina University freshman women's golfer Aruka Felgueroso has been selected as an individual to play in the NCAA East Regional May 10-12 at the University Golf Club in Baton Rouge, La., the NCAA announced April 30. She is the first CCU player ever selected as an "at-large" individual and just the second from the Big South Conference since 2001, as Radford's Stephanie George made the field that year.
Felgueroso was named both the Big South Player and Freshman of the Year. She was the runner-up at the Big South Conference Championships, shooting rounds of 76-77-71=224 at the Coosaw Creek Country Club in Charleston, S.C.
