Heher Named Big South Women's Golfer of the Week

CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Coastal Carolina sophomore women’s golfer Katy Heher (Nichols, S.C.) was selected as the Choice Hotels Big South Women’s Golfer of the Week for events played March 17-23, it was announced today by the League office.   Heher captured her first collegiate Medalist honors, winning the Lady Herd/El Diablo Intercollegiate while leading the Lady Chanticleers to a 38-stroke victory in the 54-hole event.  Heher fired a three-round total of 222 (72-74-76) on the soggy course, including an opening round of even par.  In addition, Coastal Carolina placed all five Lady Chant golfers in the top nine individually in the event.
