Coastal Carolina freshman Aruka Felgueroso (Madrid, Spain) has been selected as the Big South Choice Hotels Women’s Golfer of the Week, it was announced today by the League office.

Felgueroso won her second tournament of her freshman campaign March 19-20 at the USF/Waterlefe Invitational in Bradenton, Fla. She won the crown by nine shots over Miami’s Tiffany Prats as she shot an even-par 216 (73-71-72) on the par-72 Waterlefe Golf and Country Club. Felgueroso earned her fourth top-10 finish of the year and won for the first time since her opening tournament Sept. 25-26 at the Unlimited Potenital/Myrtle Beach Classic. She also helped the Lady Chanticleers to a runner-up finish as a team, their highest finish of the season.
