Women's Golf Tied For 10th Through Two Rounds of Edwin Watts/Pinehurst Challenge
PINEHURST, N.C. -- The Coastal Carolina women's golf team moved up one place in the second round and is tied for 10th through 36 holes of the Edwin Watts/Pinehurst Challenge, Mar. 13. The 54-hole event is being hosted by College of Charleston at Pinehurst #8 (Par 72 - 5,954 Yards) in Pinehurst, N.C.
The Lady Chanticleers shot 321 in the second round and sit at 639, tied with Big South Conference rival for 10th. Maryland continues to lead the three-day tournament at 612, eight shots ahead of a three-way tie in second between Iowa, UNC Wilmington and Mississippi State.
Coastal is led by freshman Ann Maness (Galivants Ferry, S.C./Aynor) leads Coastal in a tie for 20th at 156, while senior Lindsey Letzig (Richmond, Mo./Richmond) is next for the Lady Chants at 158, good for a tie for 29th.
The final round of the 54-hole event will be played Tuesday, Mar. 14, in a shotgun start at 9 a.m.
