Women's Golf Seventh; Hansen Leads Fall Invite
Second Day Results
Atlanta - Coastal Carolina's women's golf team stands seventh after the second day of the Ladies Fall Invite, while senior Malene Krolboll Hansen continues to lead the event.
The Chanticleers shaved five strokes off yesterday's score with a 15-over 303. CCU's two-day score is now 611 (308-303) heading into tomorrow's final round.
For the second consecutive day, Hansen finishes with an even-par 72 and leads the overall event by two strokes with her even-par 144 (72-72).
Stephanie Henning had a solid second 18 finishing with a two-over 74. She will enter tomorrow's round tied for 40th with a 14-over 158 (84-74).
Sena Ersoy also finished another round in the 70's shooting a six-over 78. She is tied for 32nd with a 13-over 157 (79-78).
Marie Lunackova shot a nine-over 81 today and will go into tomorrow tied for 28th with a two-day 12-over 156 (75-81). Frantiska Lunackova was seven-over (79) in today's round and stands tied for 49th with a 17-over 161 (82-79).
Conditions continue to be tough on all the teams in the event with Kennesaw State the only team not to shoot over-par, as they finished with an even par 288. Kennesaw and host Louisville enter tomorrow tied for the lead at 20-over.
Illinois is third at +25 with a 601 (306-295). Georgia was leading the event after the first round, but fell down to fourth after today's 306. They stand at 29-over entering the final round.
Indiana rounds out the top five with a 30-over par 606 (307-299).
Tomorrow's final round is scheduled to tee off at 8:30 a.m.
