Volunteer Assistant Women's Golf Coach

Alicia (Grier) Moorhead joined Katie Quinney's coaching staff in the fall of 2014 as a volunteer assistant coach.

Moorhead played intercollegiate golf at Coastal Carolina from the 2008 through 2011 season. During her time as a Chanticleer, Moorhead competed in three NCAA Regionals, won a pair of Big South Championships and helped Coastal to the program's only NCAA Championship appearance in 2011.

A native of Hagerstown, Md., Moorhead concluded her collegiate career with a 78.38 scoring average, ranking 12th-best on the CCU all-time list. In addition, each of her teams' scoring average ranks among the program's top 10, including the program's second-best scoring average of 300.68 during the 2010-11 season.

Moorhead, a three-time Women's Golf Coach's Association All-American Scholar, received both her bachelor's degree (finance, 2010) and a master's degree (business administration, 2012) from Coastal Carolina.

Moorhead has worked as a staff accountant in the Coastal Educational Foundation at CCU since July 2014 and also serves on the CCU Alumni Association's Board of Directors.
