Dill had 12 first-half points, while senior Calisha Yates (Columbus, Ind./Chattanooga State C.C.) added six. Yates and junior C.J. Ware (Decatur, Ga./Lakeside) had five first-half rebounds. For Campbell, Marlena Murphy had six points and six rebounds in the first half.

Coastal opened the second half by scoring the first five points on a layup from senior Vanessa Laug (Cincinnati, Ohio/Oak Hills) and three points from Dill. Campbell would cut into the lead as a Bell layup at 11:53 made it only 33-22. Coastal would quickly extend the lead to a comfortable 20 points on a three by Yates at 9:07. Coastal had another 20-point advantage (51-31) at 4:37 as Dill hit the first of her back-to-back three pointers, and CCU coasted to its fourth win of the season.

She also has scored 26 or more points in four of CCU’s six games.

Yates had 11 points, seven rebounds and two steals in the win. Freshman Devin Rivers (Miami, Fla./Felix Varela) also had seven rebounds, while Ware and junior Victoria Blanchard (Eutawville, S.C./Walters State C.C.) had six apiece.

Coastal limited Campbell to just 20 percent from the field and 1-of-15 from three-point range. In its two games in Kimbel Arena, Coastal’s opponents are averaging 32.0 points per game.

Murphy led the Camels with 16 points and 11 rebounds.

The 33 points was the lowest output by Campbell in school history, breaking the 35 points scored against St. Mary’s Feb. 13, 1973.
