Women's Basketball Signs Epley to a National Letter-of-Intent
CONWAY, S.C. – The Coastal Carolina University women’s basketball program and head coach Alan LeForce have announced the signing of Taylor Epley (Newburgh, Ind./Castle) to a National Letter-of-Intent, it was announced today (Nov. 15).
Epley, a 6-0 forward, is starting her senior season at Castle High School in Newburgh, Ind. Last season, she averaged nine points, seven rebounds and two blocked shots per game. She also helped Castle to an Indiana 4A State Championship as a sophomore. Last year, Epley helped Castle earn a Sectional championship as a junior. She also is a member of the National Honor Society.
”Taylor fits the mold of the players we have been recruiting the past few years,” LeForce said. “She has good size, great hands, can run the floor well and is tough around the basket. She’s going to make a big contribution early to our basketball program.”
Coastal is off to a 2-0 start and is at Stetson Saturday, Nov. 17 at 3 p.m.
