CONWAY - As we count down to tipoff, each day GoCCUSports.com will profile the lighter side of the Chanticleer Basketball teams. Today's student-athletes to be profiled are Charles Ashford and Angelica Henry.

  1. What is your personal goal for this season? Maintain a good attitude and stay positive.
  1. What got you started in basketball? Being around my brothers whenever they were playing.
  1. What is your plan after college, if you do not become a professional athlete? First, go to grad school, then become a physical therapist.
  1. Where is your hometown? Indianapolis, Indiana.
  1. What motivates you on the court?  The drive to win and the love of the game.
  1. How do you help the team stay focused during the season?  By doing my part and whatever the team expects me to do.
  1. Who is your role model? I don’t have one, but my favorite players are Ivory Latta and Allen Iverson.
  1. What would you say to your biggest fan? I don’t think I have any fans. I do have supporters though and I would like to say thanks for supporting me thus far.
  1. Do you have a motto or saying you live your life by? No.
  1. What is your biggest pet-peeve? When people smack gum.
  1. What is your favorite pre-game meal? Eggs Up Grill.
  1. Do you have any superstitions? No.
  1. What teams are you most excited to play this year? Everybody.
  1. What is your most favorite moment in your basketball career? Leading my high school team to sectionals.
  1. If you could be an animal what would you be? A white tiger or a panda bear.

  1. What is your personal goal for this season? To contribute in any way to help the team win the Big South Conference.
  1. What got you started in basketball? My father and brothers.
  1. What is your plan after college, if you do not become a professional athlete? I would like to become a coach.
  1. Where is your hometown? Lexington, Kentucky.
  1. What motivates you on the court?  My will to win.
  1. How do you help the team stay focused during the season? Stay focused, motivate and be positive.
  1. Who is your role model? All my brothers.
  1. What would you say to your biggest fan? Thank you and I appreciate the support.
  1. Do you have a motto or saying you live your life by? Do not count the days, make the days count.
  1. What is your biggest pet-peeve? Talking to me while you are yawning.
  1. What is your favorite pre-game meal? Pasta.
  1. Do you have any superstitions? None.
  1. What teams are you most excited to play this year? I am excited for every game.
  1. What is your most favorite moment in your basketball career? Reaching the Elite 8 in the National Jr. College Tournament.
  1. If you could be an animal what would you be? Bald Eagle.
