CONWAY - As we count down to tipoff, each day GoCCUSports.com will profile the lighter side of the Chanticleer Basketball teams. Today's student-athletes to be profiled are Bisi Addey and Kayla Cook.

Kayla Cook

  1. What is your personal goal for this season? To be consistent in every aspect of my game.
  1. What got you started in basketball? My dad would always take me to play basketball.
  1. What is your plan after college, if you do not become a professional athlete? Become a homicide investigator.
  1. Where is your hometown? Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania
  1. What motivates you on the court? My family and teammates.
  1. How do you help the team stay focused during the season? I keep reminding them of our goal to win the Big South.
  1. Who is your role model? My grandmother.
  1. What would you say to your biggest fan? Thank you.
  1. Do you have a motto or saying you live your life by? My choices, my reason, my life.
  1. What is your biggest pet-peeve? Dirty shoes.
  1. What is your favorite pre-game meal? Pasta and pizza.
  1. Do you have any superstitions? I write RIP Papa on my shoes and pray.
  1. What teams are you most excited to play this year? North Carolina and Liberty.
  1. What is your most favorite moment in your basketball career? Becoming Jeanette’s all-time leading scorer and winning the WPIAL championship.
  1. If you could be an animal what would you be? A lion.

  1. What is your personal goal for this season? Win the Big South Championship and go to the NCAA tournament.
  1. What got you started in basketball? Watching the NBA.
  1. What is your plan after college, if you do not become a professional athlete? Become a physical therapist.
  1. Where is your hometown? Montgomery, Alabama.
  1. What motivates you on the court? My family.
  1. How do you help the team stay focused during the season? Reminding them of the ultimate goal.
  1. Who is your role model? My parents.
  1. What would you say to your biggest fan? Follow my lead.
  1. Do you have a motto or saying you live your life by? I do not have one.
  1. What is your biggest pet-peeve? I do not have one.
  1. What is your favorite pre-game meal? Chicken.
  1. Do you have any superstitions? Nope.
  1. What teams are you most excited to play this year? Ole Miss and Clemson.
  1. What is your most favorite moment in your basketball career? Beating UNC Asheville last year.
