What is your personal goal for this season? Help the team get to the NCAA Tournament.
What got you started in basketball? I don’t even remember.
What is your plan after college, if you do not become a professional athlete? Become a diplomat.
Where is your hometown? Thies, Senegal.
What motivates you on the court? Remembering rough years I had battling injuries and doubts.
How do you help the team stay focused during the season? Talk when I have to.
Who is your role model? My father.
What would you say to your biggest fan? I can’t thank you enough.
Do you have a motto or saying you live your life by? Talk less, do more.
What is your biggest pet-peeve? Fakeness.
What is your favorite pre-game meal? Pasta.
Do you have any superstitions? Praying.
What teams are you most excited to play this year? All of them.
What is your most favorite moment in your basketball career? Being on the cover of ESPN Magazine.
