CONWAY - As we count down to tipoff, each day GoCCUSports.com will profile the lighter side of the Chanticleer Basketball teams. Today's student-athletes to be profiled are Uros Ljeskovic and Jena Hamrick.

Jena Hamrick

  1. What is your personal goal for this season? To help my team have a winning record.
  1. What got you started in basketball? My parents.
  1. What is your plan after college, if you do not become a professional athlete? To have a family and a successful job.
  1. Where is your hometown? Fort Wayne, Indiana.
  1. What motivates you on the court? My family and friends.
  1. How do you help the team stay focused during the season? I encourage them to keep doing their best and keep their eye on the prize.
  1. Who is your role model? My parents.
  1. What would you say to your biggest fan? Thanks for supporting me and always follow your dreams.
  1. Do you have a motto or saying you live your life by? Never give up.
  1. What is your biggest pet-peeve? A messy house.
  1. What is your favorite pre-game meal? Pasta.
  1. Do you have any superstitions? No.
  1. What teams are you most excited to play this year? Liberty.
  1. What is your most favorite moment in your basketball career? When my high school team won sectionals my senior year for the first time in ten years.
  1. If you could be an animal what would you be? A kangaroo.

  1. What is your personal goal for this season? To win the Big South Championship and go to the NCAA tournament.
  1. What got you started in basketball? My dad.
  1. What is your plan after college, if you do not become a professional athlete? I want to be a millionaire.
  1. Where is your hometown? Niksic, Montenegro
  1. What motivates you on the court? I do not like losing, so that motivates me to win.
  1. How do you help the team stay focused during the season? Giving encouragement to my teammates.
  1. Who is your role model? Michael Jordan.
  1. What would you say to your biggest fan? Thank you for supporting me.
  1. Do you have a motto or saying you live your life by? Never give up!
  1. What is your biggest pet-peeve? Smacking.
  1. What is your favorite pre-game meal? Pasta.
  1. Do you have any superstitions? I do not have any.

  1. What is your most favorite moment in your basketball career? When my team won the national championship.
