A 2007 inductee into Coastal Carolina's Sasser Athletic Hall of Fame, Weisbrod helped resurrect Coastal’s women’s basketball program as a member of head coach Alan LeForce’s first recruiting class in 1997. The Cincinnati, Ohio native finished her career sixth in school history in points scored (1,401), fifth in assists (284), and first in steals (286). She is one of only three players in program history to accumulate 1,000 points, 400 rebounds, 200 assists, and 200 steals. Weisbrod led the Lady Chanticleers to the league’s tournament championship game twice, the program’s first ever appearances and played in 112 career games. In 2001, she capped her senior season with a rare triple crown by earning the Big South Conference Player-of- the-Year, Big South Scholar Athlete-of-the-Year, and South Carolina’s NCAA Woman of the Year awards. Along with the HOF credential, Weisbrod was selected to the distinguished Wall Fellows program during her career at Coastal which honors academic achievement within the Wall School of Business.
