Men's Cross Country Finishes Second at UNCW Seahawk Invitational

Kipchiris Captures Individual Title By 15 Seconds

 WILMINGTON, NC - Coastal Carolina's men's cross country squad continued their early season success, finishing second at the UNCW Seahawk Invitational, Sept. 10. The race was marred by extensive rain prior to and throughout the race.

 Terah Kipchiris was solid again in his first outing of the 2004 season, winning the individual title in a time of 15:14, which was 15 seconds faster than the runner-up from High Point.  Doug Curris and Blair Paul also posted top-20 finishes, placing 13th and 16th in the race, respectively.

Coastal is next in action Sat., Sept. 18 at the UNC TarHeel Invitational at 10 a.m.
