Coastal Carolina Men’s Cross Country Picked Third in the Big South Conference Pre Season Poll

The Coastal Carolina University men’s cross country team was picked for third place in Big South Conference preseason poll, the Conference announced August 26. The Chants captured two first place votes and 133 overall points. The Chants had been the pre-season favorite for the previous three years. Last year the Chants men’s program ended the season in third place, but junior Terah Kipchiris ( Kitale, Kenya/Saboti Secondary (Kenyatta) was awarded Runner of the Year for the second consecutive season

High Point University was chosen to win the conference by receiving 15 first place votes and 158 points overall.The 2004 Big South Men’s Cross Country Preseason Poll is voted on by the Conference’s Head Coaches and Sports Information Directors.
