Men’s Cross Country Picked Third in the Big South Preseason Poll

CONWAY, S.C. - Coastal Carolina’s men’s cross country team received 125 points to grab the third spot in the Big South Conference’s annual preseason poll, the conference office announced Thursday.

Liberty captured the top spot by receiving nine of the 18 first place votes and 153 points overall. High Point was ranked second in the preseason poll with nine of the first place votes and 151 points over all.

The 2005 Big South Men’s Cross Country Preseason Poll is voted upon by the Conference’s Head Coaches and Sports Information Directors.

Listed below is the point totals each team received in the voting. The number is parentheses are the number of first place-votes each team received.
