Coastal Carolina Men's Track and Field Announces the Signing of Three
Aug. 14, 2009
Coastal Carolina's cross country/men's track and field coach Jeff Jacobs announced the addition of three newcomers for the upcoming season. Jacobs welcomes high jumper Jerry Ntumba, and long distance runners Josh Tormasi and Jarod Williams for the 2009-10 academic year.
"The quality of this recruiting class easily makes up for its lack of quantity," Jacobs said. "The reality is we had so many returnees this year we had to limit the number of guys we could sign in this year. However, these three guys all have had very accomplished high school careers and should make quite an impact here at Coastal Carolina."
Williams and Tormasi will be participating in the 2009 cross country season, which opens on Sept. 4 at the Gamecock Open in Columbia, S.C.
