2011 Cross Country: Won his first collegiate event, the Gamecock Open, with a 5k time of 15:43.44 to help the Chanticleers capture the meet title ... Placed 19th with a time of 26:20 at the 8k Coastal Carolina Invitational/Big South Preview ... Ran the 8k in 27:52 at the Paul Short Run ... Placed 34th at the 2012 Big South Championship meet with an 8k personal-record time of 26:13 ... Crossed the finish line in 33:43.8 to record a 10k personal-best at the NCAA Southeast Regional.
At Ridgeview HS: Runner-up in the 3,200m and placed third in the 1,600m at the 2011 SCHSL AAAA State Championships... Section winner of the 2011 Emerging Elite Mile at the New Balance High School Outdoor National Championships in Greensboro, N.C.... Ran 15:39 for 5k cross country personal record at 2010 Footlocker South Championships... Runner-up at 2009 SCHSL Cross Country AAAA Championship as a junior, finished 11th as a senior and 10th as a sophomore.
