CONWAY - Coastal Carolina University distance standout Kyle Kling has been selected to the College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA) Academic All-District IV Team for his efforts on the track and in the classroom.

Kling graduated summa cum laude with a 3.87 GPA in marketing, while earning four Big South All-Academic Team honors. The Louisville, Ohio, native has been equally impressive on the track, recording Coastal's top 3,000m, 5,000m and 10,000m times of the 2012 season. Kling won the 3,000m at the Chanticleer Classic with a time of 8:53.29, ran a 14:48.95 to place 19th in the 5,000m at the prestigious Penn Relays and posted a season-best 31:37.54 in the 10,000m at the Raleigh Relays.

Kling graduates as the Chanticleers' all-time 3,000m record holder with a time of 8:33.15. Additionally, he ranks second in the record books in the 10,000m (30:10.17) and fourth in the 5,000m (14:30.98).
