GREENSBORO, N.C.- Coastal Carolina University men’s track and field 4x100-meter relay team of Corey Jameson, Ryan Edlich, Chris Lawson and Lenny Steed broke a school record with a time 40.10, finishing 17th in the East NCAA Preliminaries at Irwin Bell Track hosted by North Carolina A&T University on Saturday, May 29.

 

The Chanticleers broke their previous record of 40.29 set at the Big South Championship on April 15-17 and were just four spots from qualifying for the NCAA Final Round, but were ahead of Big South 4x100 meter event winner Charleston Southern.
