Final Stats

ATLANTA, Ga.-The Coastal Carolina University men’s track and field team completed the Georgia Tech Invitational on Saturday, May 15.

 

Highlighting the day was the 4x100-meter relay team of Christopher Lawson, Ryan Edlich, Corey Jameson and Lenny Steed, who ran the second fastest time this season and in the Coastal Carolina all-time record books at 40.56, placing sixth in the event.

 

In the 200-meter dash, Jameson ran a personal-best 21.71, placing 25th.  Lawson followed in 31st place with a time of 21.76. Jerome St. Bernard and Ryan Edlich placed 36th and 37th, respectively. St. Bernard ran 21.89, while Edlich clocked 21.91.

 

In the 400-meter dash, Stevie Brunson ran a personal-best with a time of 49.07 in 46th place. Jacob Scheuer clocked 54.85 in the 400-meter dash in 46th.

 

Ross Graves was the lone participant in field events as he jumped 6’6.75” (2.00 meters) in 10th place in the high jump.

 

The qualified Chanticleers will take part in the NCAA East Regional, beginning on Thursday, May 27 in Greensboro, N.C.
