Men's Tennis' Migliano Lands Citi Group Internship
CONWAY - Francesco Migliano, a Coastal Carolina men's tennis student-athlete that graduated Summa Cum Laude with a 4.0 GPA from the University in May, has been offered the position of Placement Analyst with the Citi Latin America Internship Program.
The six-month internship offers a unique opportunity for students to gain meaningful work experience in a very competitive environment at a global organization. Candidates will be able to learn about the banking business and develop valuable skills in their area of interest. Interns selected for the position will be part of the Latin America headquarters office and gain significant exposure at a Fortune 100 company. The program is designed to provide interns with real-world experience working on major projects that have a direct impact on the business.
Specifically, Migliano will be connecting and facilitating relationships between the company's teams across different Latin American countries and the United States. Working to keep those relationships stable and finding ways to cut costs for the company are also major goals for the position.
The position begins June 21 in Fort Lauderdale, Fla.
"This is a very prestigious and competitive position and I'm grateful to be given this opportunity," said Migliano. "I am very proud to have graduated Suma Cum Laude from Coastal Carolina, while being named the Department of Athletics' Student-Athlete of the Year and being the men's tennis team's SAAC representative."
"I'm proud of what I accomplished both on and off the court at Coastal with hard work, belief and perseverance. I look forward to growing and achieving more important goals as I keep progressing as an influential world-changing leader."
