Men's Tennis Falls to James Madison 4-3

CONWAY, S.C.– The Coastal Carolina University men's tennis team (!-7) fell to James Madison University by the slimmest of margins, 4-3, March 9 in Conway, S.C.

Winning matches for the Chants in singles were freshman Simon Taylor, a 7-5, 6-3 win over David Emery, freshman Richard Redding, a 6-2, 6-1 win over Colin Malcolm and freshman Ryan Vrba, a 3-6, 6-3, 6-2 win over Brian Clay. In doubles, Taylor and freshman Andy Caress defeated Craig Anderson and Clint Morse 8-4.

The Coastal men’s and women’s tennis teams host Liberty Saturday, March 13, at noon.
