Juniors Plamen Tzvetkov (Herts, United Kingdom/Stanborough) and Dmitry Vlaskin (Moscow, Russia/Moscow 1201 (Arkansas)) defeated David Cardoso and Carlos Garcia de Andoain 8-4 at the No. 2 position, while senior Joseph Withers (Peoria, Ill./Dunlap (Liberty)) and sophomore John Hairston (Myrtle Beach, S.C./Myrtle Beach) topped Brandon Lindsley and Nobu Tanaka 8-4 to sweep doubles.
At singles, the Chanticleers won the first match with Perez picking up a 6-3, 6-1 win over Garcia. Vlaskin earned his second victory of the year at the No. 2 slot with a 6-1, 6-4 triumph.
