Men's Tennis Adds Larbi Lamzouri As Volunteer Assistant Coach

Lamzouri was a three-time All-Atlantic Sun selection while playing at Campbell

CONWAY - Larbi Lamzouri, who played collegiately at Campbell from 2007-11, has been named volunteer assistant coach for the men's program, head coach Chris Powers announced.

Lamzouri spent last season as an assistant coach at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, helping Jarrett Regier earn All-Liberty conference honors in single and doubles with partner Brandon Mazzara. Lamzouri was also the head tennis professional at Sportime during his time in Schenectady, N.Y., where he conducted clinics as well as private lessons.

Lamzouri was a three-time All-Atlantic Sun Conference selection at Campbell, adding A-Sun All-Freshman honors in 2008 and was recipient of the team's Coaches Award in 2009-10.

A native of Morocco, Lamzouri won his country's tennis championships in the age 18 and in the under 16 categories. He was ranked in the top 400 in the world at age 18 and under.

He graduated from Campbell with a degree in business administration.
