Men's Tennis Match With Furman Cancelled Due To Weather

March 6, 2011

CONWAY, S.C. -  The Coastal Carolina men's tennis match with Furman Sunday afternoon from the Billy Nichols Tennis Center was cancelled due to inclement weather and unplayable conditions.

The match, which was originally scheduled to begin at 1 p.m., was pushed back to 4 p.m. because of heavy rains in and around the Conway area.  Furman and Coastal Carolina began doubles play, but were forced to ultimately suspend play and cancel the match because of reoccurring poor weather.

The match will not be rescheduled.

Coastal Carolina returns to action Tuesday at 4 p.m. when the Chanticleers host East Carolina from the Billy Nichols Tennis Center.
