CONWAY - The Coastal Carolina men's tennis team shut out North Carolina A&T in a 7-0 decision Saturday afternoon at the Stevens Tennis Complex.

The Chants claimed all three doubles courts to open the match, and followed with six singles victories to improve to 3-2 this season.

All three doubles courts were 6-2 decisions in favor of the Chants. Lawrence Perrin and Paul Boulay claimed the first court, Luiz Faria and Gonzalez Achondo won the second, and Zak Talic and Francesco Cori-Gamero were victorious on the third.

All six courts were won in straight sets.

Faria, Talic and Achondo claimed the first three courts, respectively, while Perrin, Boulay and Juan Castellanos took the fourth, fifth and sixth courts.

The Chants are on the road for their next two matches, beginning with a 1 p.m. meeting with UNC Wilmington on Feb. 20.
