Coastal plays its first match of the 2013 Big South tournament at 8 a.m. Thursday morning against UNC Asheville.

Coastal will now prepare for the Big South tournament, set to begin on Thursday.
Spring 2013 (Junior): Held the third-highest winning percentage among the Chants' singles players, finishing the season 12-7 (6-2 Big South) after splitting time between Nos. 2, 3, 4 and 5 ... Played primarily at No. 4, amassing a 7-2 record, including three regular season victories, and three post season victories, agaisnt Big South opponents ... Recorded singles wins against UNC Asheville, Radford and Presbyterian College in the Big South tournament ... Alongside doubles partner Yusuke Kusuda, was named the No. 3 doubles flight winner in the Big South ... Went 13-1 at No. 3, and 14-6 overall for the season ... Ended the season by winning eight consecutive doubles matches (the last doubles match against Duke went unfinished).
Fall 2012 (Junior): Recorded two singles victories in the Big Teal vs. Big Orange match against Campbell ... Advanced to the quarterfinal of the A2 singles flight at the Elon Invitational ... Took fifth place in the Gold Singles flight at the University of Virginia Fall Classic ... Advanced to the quarterfinals of the consolation singles bracket at the ITA Regional.
Prior to Coastal Carolina:2011: In the fall he went 0-5 in singles play making appearances at the HEB Baylor Intercollegiate and the ITA Southern Regionals. In the spring he posted an overall record of 6-13 playing at positions 2-6...Was 7-13 in doubles play teaming up primarily with Carlin Murray. 2010: He finished with a 3-2 record in singles competition...Made appearances in the HEB Baylor Intercollegiate and the ITA Southern Regionals...Posted a 1-3 record in doubles play.
High School: He was ranked as high a No. 3 junior in native Sweden ... Reached the finals three times in National Doubles ... Reached the semifinals one time in singles ... At the Bastad Junior Open, advanced to the semifinals two times.
