No. 6 Coastal faces No. 3 Liberty in the quarterfinals on Thursday at 11:30 a.m.

Spring 2014 (Junior):Was the first Chanticleer men's tennis player to earn a national singles ranking by the Intercollegiate Tennis Association, breaking into the Top 125 at #109 on Feb. 11 and peaking at #67 on Feb. 25 ... Was the first Chanticleer player to qualify for the NCAA Men's Tennis Singles Championship where he fell in the first round to #45 Jordi Vives ... On Feb. 15 defeated then-#13 Jordan Vliegen of East Carolina, the highest-ranked opponent ever beaten by a Coastal player ... Was named All-Big South in both singles and doubles ... Finished with a 12-7 overall singles record and won four of seven matches against Big South opponents including Campbell, Winthrop, Gardner-Webb and Longwood ... Took a singles point at No. 1 against Winthrop in the semifinals of the Big South championship ... Recorded a 12-6 overall doubles record and was named the Big South's No. 1 doubles flight champion alongside Leo Christofides after posting a league-best 6-1 record at No. 1 ...
