Ngwenya, a junior from Bulawayo, Zimbabwe, who was also named Big South Player of the Year, currently leads the nation in goals scored with 27 and in points with 63. This season, Ngwenya broke the CCU school single season records for goals scored and points. Ngwenya is the second player from Coastal to be named All-American, Guy Norcott, was named to the third team in 1992.
The NSCAA/Adidas All-America teams are determined through voting by NSCAA member coaches from across the nation. The teams will be honored at the NSCAA/Adidas All-America Luncheon, to be held Saturday, Jan. 18, as part of the 2003 NSCAA Convention in Kansas City, Mo.
