Men's Soccer Big South Conference to StatCast Coastal-Clemson Soccer

CHARLOTTE, NC — The Big South Conference will StatCast the NCAA Men’s Soccer Tournament Game pitting Coastal Carolina vs. Clemson Wednesday evening. Game time is 7:00 p.m. at Historic Riggs Field on the campus of Clemson University. StatCasting is the score, statistics and charts brought to fans in real-time. The Statcast will take place on the Conference’s website, www.BigSouthSports.com.

Coastal Carolina advanced to the second round of the tournament with a 2-1 victory over South Carolina in the on Saturday. The second round is the deepest any Big South team has advanced in the tournament with the Chanticleers also making the second round in 1992, also following a win over the Gamecocks.

Coastal Carolina is led in scoring by Big South Conference Player of the Year Joseph Ngwenya, who leads the nation in goals with 26 and points with 61. Mike Littlefield also has 16 goals and three assists for 35 points.

Clemson is led in scoring by Dimelon Westfield with 20 goals and four assists for 44 points. Steven Rhyne has six goals and nine assist for 21 points. Fabio Tambosi leads the team with 12 assists.

This will be the sixth meeting between Clemson and Coastal Carolina on the soccer field. The Tigers lead the overall series 5-0.
