Men's Soccer Host Radford in NCAA College Cup First Round

CONWAY, S.C. -
The NCAA announced the first round match ups for the 2016 Men's Soccer College Cup and Coastal Carolina has been named a host site for the opening round.

The Chanticleers (9-6-3) will host former Big South foe Radford University (14-3-2) who won the Big South Tournament to gain the conference's automatic berth.

The NCAA First Round match will be played at the CCU Soccer Field Thursday, Nov. 17 at 2 p.m.

CCU and Raford are very familiar with each other and the two teams have faced each other 37 times with the Chants holding a 19-13-5 lead in the series.

The two teams last met last season with CCU pulling out a 2-1 victory.

Tickets will be $7 for adults and $5 for those 18 and under. CCU students will be admitted free with their student ID. Parking will be limited to the front lot on Hwy 544.
