Littlefield's Two Goals Helps #10 Men's Soccer to a 4-0 Victory over Birmingham-Southern

CONWAY, SC — Sophomore Mike Littlefield scored two goals, as the 10th- ranked Coastal Carolina men's soccer team got back in the victory column, with a 4-0 victory over Birmingham-Southern, Saturday evening at CCU Soccer Stadium.

Littlefield tallied the first goal of the game just 8:20 into play off assists from Joseph Ngwenya and Bobby Crovo. Ngwenya then scored a little over seven minutes later off a feed from Thomas Rutter. Crovo, playing in his final home match in a Coastal uniform, would roundout the first half scoring with a goal at the 37:02 mark off a feed from fellow senior Tobin Whitmarsh.

Littlefield, would record the final goal of the night, his 15th of the season, at the 47:51 mark off Crovo's second assist of the evening.

CCU (16-1-2) will next participate in the Big South Tournament, starting on Thursday in Rock Hill. Coastal will be the #2-seed and will face High Point in the first round. Birmingham-Southern's season ends with a 5-12-2 record.
