Men's Soccer's Dube and Shaw Selected to Big South All-Tournament Team

Coastal Carolina men's soccer's junior Mkhokheli Dube (Bulawayo, Zimbabwe/Pumula (Lindsey Wilson)) and redshirt freshman Tim Shaw (Bowling Green, KY/Greenwood) were selected to the 2006 Big South Men’s Soccer All-Tournament Team, it was announced following the championship game of the 2006 Big South Men’s Soccer Tournament.   Dube and Shaw helped the Chanticleers to its first round 2-1 victory over the UNC Asheville Bulldogs Thursday, Nov. 2.  Dube recorded his seventh assist of the season in the effort, Shaw scored the game winning goal in the 42nd minute to seal the victory over the Bulldogs. The Chants fell to the Panthers from High Point in the semifinals of the tournament on Friday, Nov.3, with Dube scoring the only Coastal goal in the contest and Shaw with the assist.   Coastal finished the regular season with an overall record of 11-7-2 and a second place regular season finish in the Big South Conference with a record of 5-2-0.
