Men's Soccer's Ngwenya's Two Goals Helps #13 Men's Soccer to a 3-0 Victory Over #21 South Carolina

MT PLEASANT, SC — Junior Joseph Ngwenya scored twice, as the 13th- ranked Coastal Carolina men's soccer team won its 15th straight match of the season, with a 3-0 victory over #21 South Carolina, Friday evening at the Carolina Youth Development Cemter Classic, played at the Patriot's Point Soccer Complex in Mt. Pleasant.

Sophomore MubarikeChisoni tallied the first goal of the game 67:28 into play. Chisoni's goal, his fourth of the season was unassisted. Junior Joseph Ngwenya would score back-to-back goals late in the second half to put the game out of reach. His first goal, which came at the 82:49 mark was assisted by Thomas Rutter. His second goal, which came six minutes later was unasssisted.

CCU goalkeeper Aaron Sanders recorded seven saves on the night, in recording the team's fourth consecutive shutout, and its seventh overall, while USC (9-6-1) keeper Michael Bachmeyer stopped two shots.

CCU (15-0-1) will next face the host, College of Charleston Invitational on Sunday at 3:30 p.m. in Mt. Pleasant, S.C.
