Ngwenya tallied the first goal of the game 27:11 into play, off an assist from Bobby Crovo. Senior Tobin Whitmarsh would score just under six minutes later off a pass from Thomas Rutter, to give Coastal a two-goal cushion at intermission.
John DeVae would score at the 55:49 mark, to give CCU a 3-0 lead off a feed from Chris Moore. Ngwenya would net his second goal on the evening and his 21st of the season, on a penalty kick at the 58:14 mark.. Ngwenya's goal was his 21st, broke the Coastal Carolina single season record for most goals scored, previously held by Eric Schmitt in 1992. His 50 points so far this season, also breaks the single season scoring mark, held by Ryan Walker in 1995.
Justin Stone would roundout the scoring with his second goal of the season at the 69:52 mark.
CCU (14-0-1) will next face #10 South Carolina in the first match at the College of Charleston Invitational on Friday, November 1 at 7 p.m. in Mt. Pleasant, S.C. High Point (4-11-1) will next travel to Radford on November 2.
