Men's Soccer's Dube Named Big South Co-Player of the Week

CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Coastal Carolina forward Mkhokheli Dube and Radford's Davorin Husadzinovic were selected as the Big South Conference Choice Hotels Men’s Soccer Co-Player of the Week for games played Oct. 1-7, it was announced today by the League office, Oct. 9.

Dube, a senior from Bulawayo, Zimbabwe, netted four goals and one assist to lead CCU to a 2-0 record on the week. He got his week started with two goals and one assist as the Chanticleers downed UNC Asheville, 5-0 on Oct. 3. Three days later against George Washington, he found the back of the net in the 24th minute and scored the game winner in the 73rd minute as Coastal picked up the 4-3 win.

Husadzinovic, a senior from Brcko, Bosnia, scored a pair of bookend goals to give Radford the 2-1 win over ACC foe N.C. State on Oct. 6. He picked up his first goal just 45 seconds into the match to give Radford the early 1-0 lead. The Wolfpack netted a goal late in the game and had the game heading into overtime. With only five ticks remaining, Husadzinovic scored on a breakaway to lift the Highlanders to the 2-1 win.
