Men's Soccer's Ngwenya's Two Goals Helps Team to a 4-1 victory over Marshall

LEXINGTON, KY— CCU junior forward Joseph Ngwenya scored two goals and also dished out two assists, to help CCU defeat Marshall, 4-1 in night one of the 2002 Kentucky Traditional Bank Invitational.

Freshman Mubarike Chisoni and Mike Littlefield, the reigning two-time Big South Player of the Week each netted goals for the Chanticleers.

CCU goalkeeper Aaron Sanders recorded three saves and allowed only one goal.

Marshall (3-3) was led by Byron Charmichael who scored the lone goal for the Thundering Herd at the 21:51 mark of the first half.

CCU (6-0-1) will next face #22 Kentucky on Sunday at 2:30 p.m.
