Men's Soccer's Littlefield Earns Big South Men's Soccer Player of the Week Honors for the Second Consecutive Week
CHARLOTTE, NC Coastal Carolina's Mike Littlefield captured the Big South Men's Soccer Player of the Week for the second consecutive week. Littlefield, the sophomore from Manassas, Va., took home the MVP award at the 2002 Stihl Soccer Classic this past weekend in Norfolk. He recorded four goals including the game-winner in the 4-2 victory over William & Mary. He also tallied two goals in the 4-0 win over Old Dominion on Sunday. Littlefield has scored two goals in each of the last three matches. He is also currently tied for first on the team in scoring with 17 points (eight goals, one assist.).
