Men's Golf's Johnson Tied for 20th Through Two Rounds of Western Refining All-American Classic

EL PASO, TEXAS -- Coastal Carolina senior golfer Dustin Johnson (Myrtle Beach, S.C./Dutch Fork) is tied for 20th through two rounds of the 32nd Annual Western Refining College All-America Golf Classic, Nov. 20. The individual, invitation-only event, hosted by The Sun Bowl Association, is being played at the El Paso Country Club (Par 71 - 6,837 Yards) in El Paso, Texas.

Currently ranked seventh in the nation by GolfWeek, Johnson struggled to a four-over 75 in the first round, but bounced back to a four-under 67 in the second 18 to finish the first day at even-par 142. Luke List of Vanderbilt is the leader through 36 holes at 12-under 130, including a tournament record 62 in the first round. He holds a one shot lead over Chris Kirk of Georgia.

The final round will begin Tue., Nov. 21 at 8:00 a.m. (MT). Each university is awarded a $1,000 scholarship if a golfer from that school competes in the tournament.
