Men's Golf Tied For Second After Two Rounds of Inverness Intercollegiate

         TOLEDO, OHIO -- The Coastal Carolina men's golf team is in a tie for second after two rounds of the Inverness Intercollegiate, Sept. 11. The 54-hole event, hosted by the University of Toledo, is being played at the Inverness Club (Par 71 - 7,255 Yards) in Toledo, Ohio.            The Chanticleers were in second after an opening round 299 and shot 303 in the tough conditions to finish the first 36 holes at 602, trailing leader TCU by eight shots. Coastal is tied with Southern California and ahead of fourth-place Georgia and Florida by four shots. Host Toledo is tied for eighth at 613.            Senior Dustin Johnson (Lexington, S.C./Dutch Fork) and junior Lindsay Renolds (Christina Lake, British Columbia/Heritage Academy(SC)) are tied for fifth individually at seven-over 149. Junior Joachim Fourquet (Bourdeaux, France/Lycee St. Genes) is tied for 16th at 151, while junior Zack Byrd (Calabash, N.C./Byrd Academy) is tied for 22nd at 153.            Tournament officials also announced that tomorrow’s final round will begin with an 8:30 a.m. shotgun start due to expected inclement weather.
