CONWAY - Coastal Carolina men's golf signee Josh Pisarri joined forces with PGA Champions Tour member Brad Bryant to finish tied for eighth at this past weekend's Nature Valley First Tee Open at Pebble Beach.

Of the 81 juniors invited to participate, Pissari was one of 23 to make the cut and was paired with Bryant, fellow First Tee member Daniel Gentilucci and Tom Kite in the final group on Sunday.

Pisarri and Bryant played a better-ball format and the two stood in a tie for second after 36 holes with rounds of 68 and 62. The duo combined to shoot a 71 in the final round for a 54-hole score of 201, five strokes off the lead.

Pisarri hails from Naples, Fla., and attended Barron Collier High School. He is a three-time all-conference pick and he won the 2011 Collier County Athletic Conference.
