Men's Golf's Johnson To Play In Final Group for U.S. On Opening Day of Palmer Cup

OWINGS MILLS, Md.. — Coastal Carolina senior Dustin Johnson will play in the final group in the four-ball parings in the first round of the Palmer Cup presented by Monster. The opening session of matches will tee of June 7 at 7:30 a.m. at Caves Valley Golf Club.
Johnson will be paired with Georgia's Chris Kirk versus the European pair of Swedes in Jonas Blixt (Florida State) and Oscar Floren (Texas Tech). Luke List and Jamie Lovemark will represent the United States in the opening match versus Rhys Davies and Gareth Shaw. Spaniards Jorge Campillo and Pedro Oriol will face off against Brian Harman and Billy Horschel. The third match will feature Americans Jonathan Moore and Webb Simpson versus Mark Haastrup and Gordon Yates.
The United States leads the all-time Palmer Cup series, 5-4-1.
