McAllister posted his fourth straight top-30 finish of the year, tying for 21st at the United States Collegiate Championship (par 72, 7,017 yards) in Alpharetta, Ga. In a field that featured eight of the top 10 teams in the nation according to Golfstat and less than ideal weather conditions for two of the rounds, McAllister shot the low round for the Chanticleers in each of the first two rounds, going 73 and 74 and eventually finishing with a 4-over 220 for the tournament. He currently leads the Chanticleers and ranks second in the league in scoring with a 73.28 scoring average while being the top-ranked golfer in the league, according to Golfweek.
The Chanticleers return to the course for a dual match with No. 3 UCLA, Fri., Mar. 28 at 1 p.m.
