GLENVIEW, Ill. -
The Coastal Carolina men's golf team stands in 12th of 17 teams after 36 hokes at the Windon Memorial Classic, hosted by Northwestern University and North Shore Country Club.

The Chants' team score of 297 was good enough for sixth place after the first round, but their identical score of 297 in round two dropped the team six spots to 12th.

Sebastian Soderberg leads Coastal, firing a two-over 144 on day one (73-71). His second-round 71 moved the sophomore up from 21st to 13th. Senior Steve Delmar was in third after the first 18 holes with a one-under 70, but dropped to a tie for 33rd after a second round 78 and day one total of 148.

Drew Ernst ralled from a first round 78 to shoot a one-over 72 in round two for a day one score of 150 to tie for 61st. Charlie Winegardner (62nd) and Tripp McAllister (87th) rounded out Coastal Carolina's scoring with two-round scores of 153 and 159, respectively.

Coastal Carolina will wrap-up its second tournament of the 2010-11 season with 18 holes Monday at the Windon Memorial.
